Dr. Suman Khanna Aggarwal, Founder President of Shanti Sahyog is an Associate Professor of Philosophy at the University of Delhi, a Gandhian scholar and peace researcher/ activist. She holds a doctorate in Gandhian Philosophy and has done post-doctoral work in India, Sweden and Canada. Author of several books and research papers on Gandhi, she has lectured extensively in Europe and the U.S. and has been invited as a key-note speaker at several international conferences. She gives courses on Gandhi and Hinduism in foreign Universities. Since 1986 she has been invited every fall to give lectures and conducts seminars/workshops for both students and teachers in Sweden. Along with following Gandhi’s footsteps of social reconstruction, she works for perpetuating Gandhi’s legacy of Nonviolent Conflict Resolution.

He is a graduate from the Punjab University and studied Personnel Management at FMS Delhi University. Since the last 5 years he has been associated with many NGOs. He is the President of Sarweda Foundation which has done pioneering work in Watershed Management with rural Communities in 67 remote villages of Himachal Pradesh. As a Senior Consultant with a UK funded NGO, he worked for the rehabilitation of 25,000 slum dwellers. His articles on Ethical Corporate Governance and Civil Services Reforms appear in New papers and professional Journals.
